    48 hour test drive???

    Hi all,

I was reading how someone on the Forum got to test drive an SRX for 48 hours...

Is this something that all Cadillac dealers offer? If it is, that would be great!

Are there any prerequisites or anything you need to do to make this happen?

As always, thank you in advance,

    Steve

    Steve,

That would be me. I'd always intended to ask if I could keep the car overnight. Before I had to chance to ask, my salesman offered to let me take the car overnight. Then he said, "You can bring it back tomorrow, or just keep it for another day if you like." There was nothing "special" I had to do. I can't guarantee all Cadillac dealers will do this, but an overnight test drive is pretty common. What's one more day, right? In the end it worked out to both of our advantages. He made a sale (albeit not that exact vehicle) and I was confident I made the right decision. The bottom line is, it depends on your particular dealership. It can't hurt to ask.
