    potential newbie part 2

I hate to bother any one again, but I have come down to two choices within my budget,

    1. Performance fwd
    2 Luxury awd w/ nav

I drove a performance fwd and was impressed with the handling, does the luxury with the awd handle better with the 18in tires or would the performance with the 20in fwd and zf steering , obviously the performance
looks the " part ' with the 20in wheels and xenons which I am not sure I could give up, why can't cadillac offer the xenons with the luxury, it would
solve some issues for me, feel free to chime in, thanks

    Re: potential newbie part 2

Hello again, Ductman. Please don't feel that you are "bothering" anyone; this is a forum for sharing about Cadillacs. Seems like there are always certain tradeoffs when shopping for a new vehicle. Some features only available in certain "packages", etc. It can get discouraging trying to sort it all out.

I can't comment on the AWD handling since I haven't driven one.

Living in SoCal, I was not interested in AWD. I felt that the Performance package offered everything standard that I wanted except 20 inch factory CHROME wheels. For 250 dollars they were the only option I got. At 4200 pounds, I preferred the bigger wheels.

    Re: potential newbie part 2

I drove a luxury AWD as a tester, and was happy enough with it to order a Premium AWD! I mean, i've driven many trucks before, and a couple of SUVs, but mostly cars... and the AWD i drove handled great! Flat cornering while being amazingly smooth in a straight line!
    Besides AWD > FWD
