Neat fact: Apparently all Canadian SRX's get spare tires. No ifs ands or buts. Harsh climate ftw! (for once)

Wise choice; do they increase the price by $50 to pay for it?
In the US we can't have the staggering extra weight....lol

Any apparent reason for it?? I assume you are talking American dollars. Of course it is further from Mexico,,,,but cannot understand that much difference?
Even when California had much stricter smog laws than the rest of the US, we only paid a couple of hundred dollars more for our vehicles!

But I know prices do vary, as I drive a car that was 35k IN THE US, 40 k in Australia where it was made; and 70K in England; and considered an exotic car!!!

Re: My 48 hr SRX Test Drive

Nope, Canadian Dollars. My $60 000 Premium AWD 3.0L SRX is only $50 000 in the States. It's because of the American/Canadian conversion... Which is at .95 CND on the US Dollar.

Oh but we do get Scheduled Maintenance for free for 4 years/80 000 kms.

It's not just GM, its ALL the car companies. They all have their price adjusted for .60 CND on the US Dollar. Of which it was about FOUR years ago!

    You're Escalade's are what? $60-70 000? Ours are $85 - 95 000. (With $15 000 back "Canadian Price Advantage" right now)
