    SRX Flat Towable

Is the SRX flat towable behind a motorhome? It is almost time for me to get a new car, the Lincoln MKX lease expires 4/2/10 so I am starting my homework but my car has to be flat towable. I like the new SRX so would be very interested in knowing if it can be flat towed (all four tires on the ground). Thanks!

Yes they are. The early owner's manuals said they were not, but that was a carryover from the old model. The newer version of the owner's manual should be amended to correct that and state that yes, they can be flat towed.

    Re: SRX Flat Towing

The manual says the 2010 SRX with the 3.0 is towable but there is no mention of pulling fuses. Is this correct?

    Re: SRX Flat Towing

I have 2012 srx awd. I tow it behind MH. Do not need to remove fuses. You must put the tranny into neutral using a screwdriver or equivalent to press a release under the cover/boot. Tows very well. Odometer doesn't move.
