How Good is The Portable Compressor

I am wondering about the compressor that replaces the spare tire. Can you add a little air to your tires without it taking all day? I have a small portable compressor that plugs in the cigarette lighter and it's painfully slow.

First...I don't pick up my SRX until this coming week so I cannot answer about the SRX compressor, but if it is anything like the one in my Buick Rainier it is a lot more than one that plugs into the lighter. It easily fills a soft tire in about the time it would take with a much larger unit. It sure beats having to drive to the gas station to put a few pounds of air in a tire.

And that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid.

Hopefully a few times better than the $5 can of Fix a Flat at Pep Boys!
