Smile Cargo Net / Cargo Storage

My dealer had little information on the storage kit that attached to the rail system. Also, how about just a regular cargo net? Does anyone have information?

Re: Cargo Net / Cargo Storage

Maybe our old friend Luke (at Lindsay Cadillac) can tell us. I'll post the question in the vendor forum. I'd like to have the cargo net myself, though I don't care for the rail system.

Re: Cargo Net / Cargo Storage

are you asking about the U shaped rails and storage bins that some SRX's come with? if so they don't appear to offered as a accessory kit. all of the parts (rails, harware, covers) would have to be ordered seperately. let me know if I am on the right path as far as what you are looking for

I have the net but not a damn clue how to attach it?
My net is from my CTS-V which looks in pistures to be exact net for SRX?
All 4 corners have loops that are to attach somewhere, but where I will never know?

the net for the new SRX is a new part # exclusive to the SRX. with that said I dont have any instructions on how it should atatch (dont have one in stock). your CTS-V one will be different than what the SRX should have though

I'm thinking the net may simply attach to those clip tie-down things in the luggage "track" on the floor. Thanks, Luke.

Re: Cargo Net / Cargo Storage

The cargo net for the SRX is designed to cover the rear floor area. It allows you to "shove" stuff under it, and the net keeps things from sliding all around. It's designed to use the 4 attachments in the cargo wall, near the floor.

You can see information on the net at http://www.gmaccessorieszone.com/Cadillac/2010/SRX

The cargo fence that fits into the rail system is not yet ready for prime time - expect to see it as an accessory in early 2010.

Re: Cargo Net / Cargo Storage

I've only seen pictures of the rail system but it looks pretty useless. I have the cargo net bought from the dealer. It's much bigger than the net from my '06 CTS traded -in for the SRX. The new net is almost as big as the cargo space and is hooked to each corner. Sort of like a hammock but your items are stowed underneath it to prevent them from rolling around. The dealer charged $50 but I've seen it for $30 on the internet

Re: Cargo Net / Cargo Storage

Well, how weird. I was checking the cargo area earlier to see where the hook thingys are for the net, and I discovered another little compartment on the passesnger side in the floor. I had no idea that was there.
