So, every Cadillac doesn't look quite complete until you have a beautiful mesh grill in her (imo ), so does anyone have a mesh grill installed in their new SRX yet? Photos? How was the install? Or how much did you pay for install?

On most current Cadillac models, a mesh grill often means you have upgraded to a V series, and is a very distinguished look. Many of us non-drug dealers like to modify our vehicles to make them stand out a little bit from the herd. To each his own I suppose.
Huge wheels = ridiculous clown shoes IMO. |

You know, the more I look at that mesh grill, the better I like it. Hopefully there will be some aftermarket options available. Captain--as far as installing, grills are typically DIY. They are held in place with little plastic clips that can be popped out with a flat-head screwdriver. (At least, that's the way my CTS was.) Sometimes it's tough to get your hand into the tight spaces, but it can be done with a little patience. |

Yea, i was researching these grills on the new CTS, as that was the other option i was going to buy, and the best way to install is to remove the front fascia. Annoying, but easier in the long run. Although the SRX might have more space in the grill area then the CTS.
It's just a matter of when i'm buying it. =) |

Hold off on ordering that grill until you see a photo of it actually installed on an SRX. That picture is just a grill photoshopped onto the vehicle, so the mesh size might be wrong. Also, the factory grill is recessed quite a bit behind the painted part of the bumper, so I doubt the E&G would fit flush like it's shown in the pic.
It could look good, but just wait until you see a real install.

Usually my dealership has some E&G installed on some vehicles, but the SRXs are so scarce right now they haven't had the opportunity to install overpriced aftermarket. |
