I'm sure your right. It wouldn't really matter being that I'm an interior girl. I have to sit inside the car, so that's the part that matters the most to me. Sure I'm not crazy about the resemblance to the Vue, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker. For me the third row being gone is making me hesitate a little. That was one of the key things I wanted when I recently purchased my 06 SRX. My sister has a RX400h and when we are all together we can now take my car and be more comfortable with all three of the kids (2 that are in car seats)

I am really interested in going to see one in person.

I plan on replacing our 04 in the 2011 area or 100,000 kilometers whatever comes first, I really like this new one but I think we will end up in a Q7. Third row does not matter to me but I want a diesel and it will tow 6600 lbs.

The new SRX will never tow alot and that does not matter really but would it kill them to put a diesel in it, they have a few to choose from but maybe the market is not there?

The funny thing is how delays eventually lose customers.....I originally wanted a Lincoln MKX or Ford Edge,,and they kept putting it off and delaying delivery ....I eventually called Galpin Ford/Lincoln;largest dealer in the world, and they said they were delayed again for California,,and admitted that the closest dealer that had plenty of them was in St George,UT,,and none any further west! I finally gave up and bought an SRX...so cost Lincoln a customer; I hope this constant delay doesn't do the same; I will certainly LOOK at the Lexus before I commit to the new SRX, as it gets more criticism as time goes on, and no REAL vehicle to drive or see for me in Southern California!! By the way they are ALSO out of 2010 brochures...promised to send me one in mid August......lol...guess the printers are waiting for a handout from the government also.....lol
