| water in jack compartment
I have had an '04 SRX for 4 weeks now.....N* AWD & heavliy optioned. Very happy with it.
When I picked it up there was water in the jack compartment. It did not appear to have been wet very long; no mildew or rot and no rust on the jack, so I assumed the water resulted from over enthustiac washing of the carpets. I vacumed the compartment with wet vac and propped it open for several days and it was throughly dry. I checked it today and UGH! there was water again. The car has not been driven in any significant rain but I have washed it three times. Any thoughts on how the water might be getting in? |
