Custom Strut Grille for SRX

I got a custom Strut Grille done up for the SRX .. I have good connections with someone whose involved with the manufacturing of their grilles.. Below are pictures of mine installed-- check back soon for full body shots of the car-- as well check out my other post which shows pictures of the rest of the car...

I think I may be able to talk him/her into making one or two more grilles.. So contact me via PM if you are interested and I can see what I can do..

Looks great! If it had a Cadillac emblem, I would consider it myself. I am sure that the STRUT emblem is more "hip", but unfortunately I am too old/ignorant to have ever heard of it before.


Follow-up: I did a search and found out:

A. Strut grills are the absolute "in" thing right now; only made for Cadillacs/Bentleys/etc;
B. If you have to ask, you can't afford it. An Escalade grill goes for NO less than $2500.00 - since this was a custom job, must be more. Too rich for my blood.

The grille was extremely easy to put in and is defiantly a DIY install if you know what you are doing. I would assist in the process if necessary..

I can't say what I paid.. but since it isn't strut branded in the back and isn't certified by them, just someone in the manufacturing department doing me a favor and putting it together and getting hold of one of the elusive emblems which are not avaliable for individual sale and attaching it. I think I may be able to get 1 or 2 more strut grilles off my buddy for about $1500ish maybe a little bit lower like $1200.. If you are really interested please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate you. Also do not forget this grille will most likely take about 3-6 weeks for him/her to make.

I thought I was insane for spending $486 on my Dual Weave mesh E&G grill??? I like the look, but it's too rich for my blood.. good luck with it..

OK! I just laughed myself out of my chair... "strutmobile"

Now, all kidding aside, it is a SWEET grill but I am more of a "de-badger" or "same-badger" than a "re-badger". My wife would have a stoke if I spent that much on a grill... and she is 35.

A lot of compliments from the grille.. Everywhere I go and I get out of my car I have to deal with someone asking me questions about it.. It's annoying but I love the attention but every time I get in the car I make sure the emblem is still there hahahah

strut is the pinnacle of all grills... thats sooo cool to have a custom / unique grill!!! sweet ride man!!
