What do you guys use to clean the dash on the SRX?
It has some raised square bumps. Do you use Armor All on it or is there a special product used?

Re: Dashboard

I avoid armorall. It leaves things sticky. I use a dust cloth and then 303 protectant.

Who makes 303 protectant, and does normal automotive store carry it?

Re: Dashboard

I use armor all CLEANING WIPES - they have NO protectant on them - just grab the dust off and clean. They work great for the bumpy dash.

Re: Dashboard

I highly endorse armorall CLEANING WIPES as well. In a green coloured plastic tuppy. Armorall "protectant" collects dust, and requires constant re-application or it drys out in the sun, leading to cracks. Also it makes the dash shiny, which gleems off the windshield in high light situations. Also absolutely do not use armorall on leather. Leather requires conditioner, as a test, cover yourself in armorall and leave it on, while going into and out of the sun for 5 days. Tell me how your skin feels after such treatment.

It's called 303 aerospace protectant and I get it at a local auto parts store. I didn't know that Armorall now has the dusting wipes that don't have armorall on them. For dusting, I use Pledge grab-it cloths on the dash.

The armor all (in the green container) are damp cleaning wipes - so they are not really "dusting cloths" like grab-its or swiffers. I do use a swiffer for dusting the "wood" and sometimes to do the dash. BUT, the Armor all cleaning wipes are clearly the best, cheap, easy to use, and at most almost stores (ie. Target/Wal-mart/Meijers/etc).
