Took delivery of my new 2007 SRX today. I know other threads have questioned the redesigned interior. However, experiencing it compared to my 2005, it is a HUGE improvement.
Also, I upgraded to Magnetic Ride Control. WOW, what a difference!
I got the V-6 AWD. Besides the Magnetic Ride Control, I got the Premium Drivers Package which includes the Ultraroof, heated seats, new Bose stereo (awesome), plus the third seat and the new wood package (worth the extra $100). Basically everything except the DVD system and 20 inch rims (too much bling for me).
I have the MagRide and the damned thing handles like a sled on rails!! I find the ride a bit "stiff" however when just cruising around town. Is this your impression of the difference between non-Magride you had previously??
My impression is that the MRC gives the car a better feel versus the standard suspension. You do not feel the bumps as much and you glide along the highway. It is well worth the extra $$$
