    Newbie question about exhaust tubing diameter....

    ok ok ...I didn't do a search.....but after spending half an hour under the vehicle day-dreaming of an x-pipe and straight-through muffs.....was wanting to ask..is that 2 1/2 inch main tubing or 2 1/4 ? My edu-muh-cated guesstimate is 2 1/2???

    You need to search, I have posted the sizes but don't remember.

    But its both I think, I did a custom hand built exhaust for mine.

    Sorry to get off topic, but I just came across orandaberg's exhaust video on YouTube. It sounds soooooo good. Has me dreaming of exhaust mods too.

    Dynomax VT mufflers, Dynomax X-pipe, 2 1/2" front to back.

    Sorry, but the wind noise and the Crocs ruined it for me. Plus, your video camera is facing the ground, at least Orandaberg's was facing horizontal.

    Ya I could not get it to face up anymore and the sound still worked.


    I don't think that is wind either just the sound of the tires, the mufflers are that quite when of the throttle. It was great on the highway and not a bit of drone but step on it and all sorts of sound.
