So Far have jacked the car up and tried wiggling the tires to see if the one or more wheel bearing might be going ,everything tight. Next will see if one of the motor mounts are loose or broken off. In re hashing this over with the wife she says some was vibrating underneath, had to be bad to make the airbag indicator light come on, Still hasn't happen to me and I have drove the car twice, afraid while driving it. So help if anyone has any ideas pleas give me a hollard

    What are the tires like?
    Quality - condition - etc.
Have you tried rotating the tires to see if things change?

    Re: Re- Runbling

When SRX wheel bearings go bad there is no play in the bearing like old taper bearings ! Mater of fact when you have the old bad one in your hand and turn it , feels just like a new one . As for the air bag light , my daughter drove mine and said the light came on - was just a heavy bag she had on the passenger seat .

    Re: Re- Runbling

I just signed up to research this same problem on a new to us SRX. I know my issue is from a very uneven wear on the tires and this may be your issue as well. The inside of the tread is cupped (wavy) and causes the rumble. Now to find out what caused the uneven wear.

    Re: Re- Runbling

Cupping is from alignment or loose components.
