    Persistent P0300, P0171, P0174 codes on 04 SRX V8 AWD.

My wife's 04 SRX has a 170k miles on it. It had been running fine. It has started persistently pulling the p0300, p0171 and P0174 trouble codes. If the codes are cleared, they return within the first couple miles of driving. Hot, cold..it does not matter, The car seems be idling a little rougher than normal, has more engine pinging noises than usual during driving, but the overall performance seems to be fine. I assume the p0300 code is likely caused by the other 2 codes. The last time I saw the p0171 and p0174 codes years ago it was because the intake manifold bolts had come very loose. However this time all of the intake manifold bolts to the block are snug, The car has had the plugs replaced around 150000 miles and the airfilter is also clean. I am not sure what is a causing these trouble codes, if anyone has had similar issues and resolved them, I would appreciate any suggestions on what to look for.

    Thank-you

check the throttle body pigtail wiring. I had one that was broken inside the casing giving me intermittent contacts and frustrating the hell out of me until I found it. wiggle it around and see if it kicks more codes.

171 & 174 are lean fuel, both banks, so look for vacuum leak between MAF and intake manifold as well as both PCV lines which may have become brittle.

Haven't the v8's had an issue with the intake bolts coming loose? Kinda sounds like that could be the issue given those codes or mass air flow sensor.

What's the torque specs on the intake bolts for the NS v8?

Thank-you for the suggestions. I found that a vacuum line at the rear of the engine connecting the intake to the valve cover had decayed and had a large hole in it. I replaced that rubber elbow piece and cleared the codes. . This fixed it for a while but the codes came back again after about 50 miles. Must have 1 or more leaks somewhere else. The steering pump failed earlier in the week.. I ended up taking the car to the shop to be fixed,

Checked my intake bolts... Loose enough that when I tap them with a screw driver they move around.
