    Good deal on Pennzoil Platinum

For those whose V6 or N* is an oil guzzler, or those of us who do their own oil changes, there's a good deal for Pennzoil Platinum that gives you a buck a gallon off Shell gasoline.

Given that WM sells it for about 25 bucks / 5 quart jug, and you potentially can save 20 bucks on gas, the oil price is like the old days. Runs to end of June.

I used the Valvoline synthetic on my last fill. There seems to be less engine noise on cold startup. YMMV of course.

I'm not an oil snob. Anything that meets GM4718M is fine with me.
I've used Pennzoil Platinum, Mobil 1, and Valvoline SynPower.
