    UPDATE!!!!!

So, my wife calls me 2 days after I installed these and told me the error message, "Speed limited to 80", came back on and hasn't gone away. I called Suncore and talked to Sarah (Tech) and she informed me that they should have sent me a 3 ohm resistor instead of the 6 ohm. They're sending me out new 3 ohm resistors now.

So sorry if this has inconvenienced you! BUY 3 OHM RESISTORS!

    Hi,

I order it in France at this link :
    http://www.electronique-diffusion.fr...ducts_id=28101
But you can find it at any electronic store.
I think that work for the 2006 too, it use the same system.

    Floods,

I have a similar problem. Did it work?
Did you change 1 shock, or more? How is the ride/handling?

I have info on several cars trying different resistors and different specs working for different years. The biggest problems being 2004 (2005 model years). So one may need to try different resistance for it to work. One sure thing that always works is resistors cut out of old MRC shocks (the rod from connector to bottom can be cut).

Expensive but I wonder if these would work... http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...2005-2012.html

I did Strutmasters on the rears of my 05 STS and they work great. I tried asking if they would send me 2 extra resistors but they refused...

    Sorry for late reply.
I change the 4 shock, and i put on the 4 wire a 50W 2,7 OHMS resistor, and that work perfect for me since i install it.
Ride is perfect, just same as the non F55 suspension system, and that ok, feel good.

Did you use a specific type of solder?

Explain... Is there something that can be salvaged from the existing shock that works like a resistor?
