Is it possible to install FE1 as replacement for FE3?

Re: 2005 Cadillac SRX w FE3 Sport Suspension vs. FE1 Soft Ride
FE1 vs FE3 is mainly just the springs used.
FE1 = soft springs and passive shocks
FE3 = sport (stiff) springs and active electronic F55 MRC shocks
You can swap the springs without issue.
If you are really asking to change the shock/strut with the FE1 equivalent version then you will have to setup an electrical bypass or you will never be able to exceed 80MPH again.
