    Need auxiliary power line!

I have a 2005 SRX w/ Nav system. I am currently installing a tablet into the dashboard and tying into the stereo system (via auxiliary port tapped into XM modulator). Everything was going great but I need a way to power the tablet. The obvious way would have been to tap into the power port (cigarette lighter) in the ashtray. Especially since I had to remove the ashtray when I modified the dash for the tablet and those wires will just be stuck behind the dash anyway. But since this car's cigarette lighters are always powered, even when the car is off, that won't work. I need the tablet to shut down when the car is turned off. So my next idea was to get a fuse tap and power off of the pass side rear fuse box. I got that all wired up, only to find that every single 10A fuse I tapped into was also powered even when the car is off! Does anyone have any ideas on what I can tap into (without hacking into any harnesses) to get power that is only on when the car is on?

    ----------

Nevermind, I just read the manual and saw that there is a way to set it so that the power ports shut off 10 min after the car turns off. Does anyone know how to do that? 10 min is still a bit long. I don't want anyone who walks by within 10 min of me getting out of the car to see that I have a tablet in there because it's all lit up.

    ----------

    Nevermind. I figured it out.

I'll post pics in the next couple days. Almost finished. It's coming out pretty good.

Does anyone know what color matches the black plastic trim color in the center of the dash?
