    Time for new intake manifold?















    My srx 4.6L threw these 7 codes. Is it time for a new intake manifold?

    You have 4 codes not 7. Why replace the entire manifold? You need a map sensor or the intake plenum gasket. Odds are its the plenum gasket. I would replace the intake manifold gaskets while replacing the plenum.

    Thanks for the input. I might start with the Intake plenum gasket. Good call on the intake manifold gasket.

    Of you want replace the starter too while the intake is off lol yes it's under the intake still.

    Starter is expensive and a rare failure.

    Hey..I had a bunch of those issues as well. Might want to check the pigtail leading to the throttle body. The wiring is cheap and can break inside the casing. That's what I found and got a new pigtail and it was all better. Just unplug it and plug it back in and see if you get errors or if they go away for a bit.

    Any suggestions on where to buy new MAP sensor? And what's the part #?
