How to get iphone compatability in 04 srx

Hey, I would like to know if there is any way to install a adapter of some sort so I can hook up my iphone to the speakers and play music through them. Or could I just buy another radio? Thank you for your input.

    Very easy!
I am using a device called Satechi bluetooth fm transmitter, put it in Cigarette Lighter, and any iPhone or Cell phone that have bluetooth supported is good to go
Please note: There a lot of cheap one selling in Ebay but don't even think about it, Satechi is the best brand for the job, satechi.com have a coupon for new customer

I have one of the cigarette lighter plug-in bluetooth devices, but it doesn't seem to work well on our SRX. I'm wondering if the antenna is located on the back or the roof. Although I have also noticed the wires imbedded in the windshield and wondered if that's the antenna. Either way, a device that has worked well in other vehicles does not work well in an SRX!

Stupid question . But does the 04 model not have the AUX input on the right hand side of the radio?
My 07 does and I just plug my phone into that.
Or maybe it's as I don't have the onstar service I got that instead.

Re: How to get iphone compatability in 04 srx

I was looking at the USA Spec PA15-Vette device and noticed that it requires a car be pre-wired for XM radio. I have a European-spec 2005 SRX w/o XM radio (and seriously doubt that XM is even available here). Would all SRXs have factory XM wiring? Or is there an easy way to tell if my vehicle has the right wire harness for XM? Thanks!

it's not XM wiring that you're looking for it's the Radio having that extra XM input that you can wire the PA15 into

if the radio doesn't have the logic for another input then you're pretty much out of luck in trying to wire into the head unit
