    Re: 2007 SRX door lock

I also have 2008 SRX and have experienced the door lock trouble except driver door. At first, rear passenger door was not opened outside even all the doors are unlocked with remote key.
Then, as times goes on, driver side rear door also have similiar action which not react with remote signal properly. Sometimes it works sometimes not. : (
And all of sudden, passenger front door is not locked or unlocked also. Its latch knob is not moving even physically but the other knob can be up and down manually even it did not works with remote controller.
Any one know the reason of this? Is this mechanical trouble or electrical trouble??
Thank you for your help in advance.
Since I am living in Dubai, all the parts price is at least double or triple. One Hid bulb is $100 and Navigation map update from 2008 to 2010 DVD map ask me $1,200 from the dealer. @.@ Crazy.....

    Re: 2007 SRX door lock

First, stand near a door that doesn't work and unlock it with the remote, and listen for the solenoid to work. If you hear it, good, if not, both rear doors work through the body control module so that may be an issue.
Second, remove a door trim panel-I suggest front passenger- and look for broken plastic clips and disconnected rods/levers. I don't know this is the case here, but lock assemblies usually have little plastic clips to hold things together and the heat in your area may be causing them to break.
Let us know what you find.
