    P2187 and P2189 codes on 2004 SRX

    getting these two code with engine light on. any ideas on most likely issue that would cause these codes? I changed plugs and kept same intake gastic, also cleaned mass air flow and throttle body.

    You have a vacuum leak on the intake side that affects both banks (R&L cyl.banks). Start at the MAF (next to air filter box) and work your way to intake manifold looking for loose clamps, bolts etc. or holes (splits). Make sure PCV hose is attached to intake air duct.
