Lol no I have one I think the navigation one does. I'm not sure someone with nav can answer. I was gonna have a shop add to my stock radio but never did it.

The 2008-2009 SRX comes with a AUX port (with and without navigation) that allows sound in. I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for. You cannot power your phone from the port.

I don't believe that is available on the 06'

In 07, GM redesigned the dash, and there is an RCA Aux Input Jack on the front of the panel.

    Hey
I hope someone can assist. I have a 2006 Cadillac SRX with the factory stock radio (see pics)

What is the simplest (read: cheapest) way to add a 3.5mm AUX in so I can hook up my mobile, tablet etc... I'm not interested in full iphone connectivity or anything like that.

    Thank you

    Get an iSimple IS77.
It has a 30 pin iPhone connector with it, or you can use the 3.5mm AUX port that comes with it. You'll need two adapters:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The two of those will allow this kit to work correctly. I did one in my '05 SRX a couple of weeks ago, works great!
The audio quality is pretty good and its cheap. If you use the 30 pin connector it will charge a phone or iPad, and you can use the 30 pin to lightning adapter to use newer devices, but if you set it up with the 3.5mm then that's the only hookup you get and there's no power to devices.

Since you have the Nav stereo (mine's just the baseline rig) you could do a little bit nicer one that would have both iPhone inputs that charge your phone and AUX, but they run about $160.

It's a bit of hassle, but if you have the rear DVD system, you can use a 3.5mm (or 1/8") headphone to RCA cables.

Plug the RCA cables into the DVD player. Turn on the DVD player and push aux. Push source on the radio and you now have an "AUX" source playing through the main radio.

You can get an updated cable that lets you plug in either of the OEM Apple cables (30 pin or lightning) ... It just gives you a standard USB port. Not sure if it works with non iOS devices though.
