Glove box handle/latch
I opened the glove box door on my wife's '06 SRX and heard something snap. I wasn't abusing it; contrary to what my wife will tell you...lol. It is currently duct taped shut.... keeps falling down... hitting her on the shin... and she is "displeased" (pc for PI**ED!) I removed the 2 screws from the inside of the door, and have the whole handle/latch mechanism in my hand, but I can't seem to find the "part" anywhere on line. Can anyone direct me to where I might find the part? Does it maybe have to come from dealer? ... Thank you for hopefully directing me, as I would classify this as a "time critical" repair!!

Sounds like you need the latch assembly. Contact rippy for a good price.

A Cadillac tech was repairing by drilling a new hole for the spring. Might be an option for you
