    v6 motor mounts

    I know that the v8 you have to remove the exhaust manifold to replace the motor mounts.What about the v6?How difficult is it?

    Left side sounds bad if you have to remove the mount bracket. From the SM-
    "Install the engine support fixture to support the engine. Refer to Engine Support Fixture.
    Discharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
    Remove the tower brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement.
    Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
    Remove the suction hose from the A/C compressor. Refer to Suction Hose Replacement.
    Position the hose aside to gain access to the engine mount top nut.
    Remove the lower section of the steering intermediate shaft. Refer to Lower Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement."

    I swapped the Left side on my 04 v6 awd
    bacially had to remove the tire, jack up the engine and wrestle in/out for 45 minutes
    only had to bend the brake line a little out of the way.
