2005 Low Beam fuse allways melt (20a) right side

    Hi everybody
have somebody an idea, what I can check?
    first:
My right side low beam fuse allways melt. I replace the HID Bulb allready. High beam, turn light etc. are allready working

    second:
I buy a used head lamp, but the connector of the 2005 -2007 is different to the later series

    So I have two questions
    1) which parts must be replaced to cover the melt of the fuse and where I can get this?

    2) Is there a possibility to convert the connector of a 2005 SRX to fit on the head light from the later series?

    Hope, somebody can help

    Uwe

Only possible causes for my understanding
Ballast and cable between beamer and ballast
does any valeo lad5g (12 pin) ballast fit or is there a different version for cadillac?

If the right side fuse keeps blowing, either the ballast is bad or you have a short to ground in the wire. Unplug the ballast and put in a new fuse. If it doesn't blow, the ballast is bad.

When I unplug the head lamp, the fuse don't blow away
So for me, it sounds like the ballast.
Does any valeo lad5g (12 Pin) fit?
There are a lot off in the bay, also in europe
