    Replacing the steering pump and line.

    Hay forums do any body have a video on how to replace the power steering pump and line for the 04 srx. Is this a diy job or i have to put it in the shop. Some people said it is not a hard job.

    Well it was a 2000 dollar job, I didn't have my car for a month and a half, just for the job of my steering issue. talk about a pain. Column and pump and whole system lines. So if you want to save some money and really know what your doing then go for it.

    Dear God they love ripping us off. I just replaced my pump and lines parts all together we're around $200 and took me less than 2 hours

    What was done for $2000 and by who?

    What from what I was told, something had shattered in the whole steering pump lines so they had to change the lines the pump, steering column and the piece that connects the column to the car.
