I found the OEM pads on Amazon front and back. I cross referenced the part #'s with gmpartsdirect.com

More dust vs less dust lol

I wish they would publish more compound data and not just marketing spin, yes what is the difference and how are we to know.

The brakes are all the same for all the SRX's, except mine!

I'm just replacing with the OEM to guarantee good braking. What pads are you running so I know an aftermarket option?

Not many good aftermarket pads, well none really.

I meant mine are different because I did the CTS-V 4 piston conversion.

I used and would again Porterfield R4-S as they are the only company that offers a performance compound for front and rear, all others only offer front only and that is lame. These are an actual performance brake pad not just in name.

Ceramic DO NOT stop better, they are not an upgrade, they do dust less.

So when guys buy a set of drilled rotors and ceramic pads expecting to stop shorter it is just not the case, it will look cool and not dust but probably not out brake the next guy.

How much was the brake conversion? Where did you source the parts from and what all did you have to replace? Sounds like a fun project, I do enjoy great brakes.

I did it just to see if I could do it, there is a thread here on it somewhere.

The OEM brakes work just as well IMO but no where near as cool looking!

I second that. Only thing good about the ceramic pads is less dust.

Re: Performance brake vs non performance OEM pads

ACDelco Advantage pads are the best value out there
if you want a bit better (more like the OEM) go with the ACDelco Durastop
then of course you have the OEM pads

these are the three "good, better, best" options that I present to just about all our customers
ACDelco has a whitepaper on their website that gives a bit more detail about the differences
(i think it's also somewhere in the GM parts catalog)

also note that the Advantage and Durastop lines often come in Ceramic and Semi-Metallic (and sometimes even organic)
not all vehicles will have the choice between compounds but many do
