    P0174 code vacuum leak

This past weekend after a long drive in stop and go traffic I came out started my car and found my check engine light on. The light went off the next day but I still pulled the codes and found a P0174. After reviewing threads on this forum I checked both of the PCV lines and found the line from right valve cover to back of throttle body just broke apart in my hand when attempting to remove it. Temorary fixed with piece of hose on both fittings but was able to get new part for $15 at dealer. Car is running like new again.

There is no Pcv valve but there is two Pcv lines. I also found that my brake booster hose was so loose it would pop off when touched. Bought the line at dealer and the hose off amazon. 172000 miles runs beautiful. The hose was $13 so I ordered cabin air filter to get free shipping.

Can you just replace the rubber ends or replace the both lines.

The line I replaced was $15 and they don't sell just the rubber ends. Well worth the money.
