    Stupid question about oil drain plug location.

    I'm embarrassed to ask but want to be sure doing the SRX's first oil change but where is my oil drain plug?

    Lower driver side of oil pan its a 15mm

    Thanks for the understanding guys. The fact the bolt is on the pan sideways threw me off.

    Trust me.....with this vehicle there are no stupid questions. Wait until you try to find the dipstick to check the transmission fluid level, color, and smell. There isn't one..... unless your pinky finger qualifies as a dip stick.

    There is a transmission dipstick the manufacturers just forgot to put it in but they had already rolled.off the line lol there will be a recall in 7 years hahahaha
