    2005 srx rattling noise

    My check engine light came on auto parts store said it was catalytic converter.used seafoam twice. Car drives fine. Now it is making a rattling sound from underneath on acceleration and when in park if rev engine.what could it be?

    Forget the snake oil. Google "chevron techron" and "top tier gasoline".

    You did not mention if you had the cat replaced. If not, it could be responsible for causing the rattling if something is broken inside it.
