    04 srx wont start

I jacked up my car to look at an oil leak. After finishing I put the car on the ground started it up and put it back in garage. My wife went to start it next morning and nothing. It cranks but wont start. Could it be spark plug which just got changed a couple months ago or fuel filter. Please help.

Any chance you pinched a fuel line when lifting the car?

Need fuel, air and spark to run. Most likely you lost spark. The ECM is mounted to the front of the engine, right side and has 1 or 2 wire connectors on it. Grasp the connectors (one at a time) and wiggle them without trying to remove them. That may re-establish a bad electrical connection that prevents starting.

Might try the same with the relays in the underhood fuse block, although the fuel pump relay is in the right rear block.

A black/dk gray box about 4"x4"x1" located about here wp.PNG

will have a big (about 1" dia.) wire loom going to it.

Next question, is the security icon (yellow padlock) on the dash on?

It turned out to be carbon build up on valves/throttle body from below freezing temps and not being used. Dealership reset everything to factory and started right up. Thanks for your help
