    Little bulb in headlight unit

Does anyone know what the little bulb in the bottom inside corner of the front headlamp unit is called? Also, I need a part number for that bulb. How hard is this one to replace? Thanks!

Re: Little bulb in headlight unit

Looks like it is the front parking bulb, possibly bulb type 2825 - can anyone confirm? Also, is there an easy way to get at it without going through the headlamp removal procedure?

I think you'll find if you put your park lights on, the yellow markers on the bumper will come on - the little bulb in the headlight may come on with park, but since this bulb is clear, it would not be a "traditional" park light. I believe the light you question flashes when you lock/unlock your vehicle.

Re: Little bulb in headlight unit

The only way to replace it is to remove the headlight assembly from the car, I replaced mine with white LED lights ( 8 leds per bulb) , personally I think it looks better. If I'm not mistaken they are referred to as "city light". The previoys poster is correct, it is a 2825, I replaced mine with a different number bulb only because I went to LED's, the 2825 bulb with cross reference with a several others. Good luck.

that bulb can be removed without taking the headlamp out. Just remove the front wheelhouse liner and you can access the bulb.

Hi cadmanchris, you are correct. I was expecting the bulb socket to point toward the rear of the vehicle, but it actually points straight down. I didn't find this out until I loosened the head lamp unit. It is actually not that hard to do if you know how. Thanks!
