Tow/haul icon on 2007 SRX
I just purchased a 2007 SRX with 3.6L V6 engine. Previous owner did not know if the "trailering package" was installed. It has no hitch installed but the tow/haul icon is on the console next to the flashing hazard button. When selected the icon lights on the dash. Does this mean the package has been installed? I need to tow - about 15 times a year - a <1500 pound GVW enclosed 5x10 trailer.
thanks

Re: Tow/haul icon on 2007 SRX
You can check to see which options were installed at the factory by checking RPO codes on the sticker in the glove compartment or you can check online at http://www.compnine.com/vid.php and entering your VIN. The RPO for the "Trailering Provisions" is V92.

The SRXs with the third row seat........the sticker with the RPO list is on the inside door of the jack storage compartment located in the floor behind the third row seat. At least, it is with mine.

talkinghead, if you aren't fully comfortable or unsure of the readout given to you by the website you were offered I can perform the same check for your vehicle as well. All I would need is your VIN. I hope either method works for you!

If the button is there, you have the option.
I believe it changes the shift programming to hold gears longer.
Also included a transmission cooler is I remember right, as part of the package that SRX's without do not have.
