I'll probably keep my XM, as long as I can continue to get 3 months for 19.95... but not for more.

In my personal experience with XM , shows that it doesn't work when parked next to sky scrapers (Down Town St Louis), under bridges or in parking garages. It will play music, but often the menu screws up on heavy cloudy days. ("Scanning XM" Message) when you try to change stations.

I am not all that impressed with XM.

I believe, that since we pay extra for XM, we should NEVER have to tolerate a commercial! and - XM Sucks when you travel as far as getting Local Weather or News for an area you are in.

As far as music - - I can usually find something I want to listen to out of the 32 Gig of music on my IPod.

    Re: First Post-First Cadillac

Yeah, they might have had a customer for life in me if they did not start messing around with commercials on my music stations. That was the big initial draw for me when I got one of the first XM units around (XM Commander I think it was called). I even bought XM stock and told everybody I could about how great it was - then in about 2007/2008 came the commercials. Given, still much much less than mainstream radio, but I had gotten spoiled.
