annoying creeking near sunroof - Page 10

Picking mine up this afternoon....rail adjustment and lubrication. Dealer claims no more noise! We shall see. But to be without that skyward view....unacceptable!

does this affect 2008 SRX's or has that been fixed??

No more creaks, rattles or noise since the fix. On the invoice/work order...."B2270 reposition sunroof window seal 46603 out of position diag".

Back to the dealer Monday for an oil pan gasket.

Something in my wife's '08 creaks. I suspect it's the roof but she doesn't care much and I don't spend a lot of time in it. Our '04 (no ultraview) was dead-silent for the 4 years we had it. We got stuck with the ultraview as part of a great deal we got but, frankly, I'd rather have the headroom than the slider.

Driving an '06 SRX loaner today. N* and nothing else...I miss the Ultra, the Nav,etc. Base model just too spartan for me.
