I had my '07 SRX at the dealer for this issue. My roof would get to a point and slow down and depending on the temperature would reverse, typically on chilly days. They replaced the "shoes" for the roof. Service Manager said that the shoes ride in the track and were binding.
It's been raining here in NJ so I haven't been able to put it to the test. I opened and closed it once and it was fine and didn't slow down at all. So I'm feeling pretty good about the fix so far. |
