Help quick, buying SRX need help with price.

    Hey,

My grandparents are buying another SRX, basically the same as the one they have now, but white.

Its a V6 AWD with every option (I think) besides Navigation.

I think the MSRP is in the 50's, and they say the best they can do is like 45,110$, I think thats the employee pricing.

I dont know the exact numbers, but I can post them. What I really want to know is if the employee pricing is negotiable, or if I'm getting a good deal now.

    Thanks,

    Tom

They aren't giving them away so I'd approach as everything negotiable.
Trick is to walk away if they don't offer something to induce you to buy.
Free oil changes life of car?
    Free wash monthly?
    Discount on extended warranty?
    All "soft" cost things.....

I think it's awful hard to reach $50K MSRP with a V6 SRX. They should get the employee discount plus another $2K incentive. While the GMS price is not negotiable, trade in value is, and other perks like oil changes, etc. are.

V6 with no NAV (which, I think, means no RSE) at $50+. No way! Way too high.

I was wrong, the car has nav.

I'm not sure what price they worked out, but my grandparents were happy with the deal.

I'm going to be getting there old SRX, so I will be on these forums alot more often. This is the 5th SRX they have purchased lol.

We bought a'08 loaded (all options except rear DVD's), metallic blue, in April. Paid 41,400 + taxes in Ontario Canada. the vehicle was brought in from Lansing Michigan for us by a very responsible broker. His fee was about 1000$ + RIV fees. Total cost in was about 46K...... we are very happy with the ride..... Saved a bundle by buying in the USA. GM charges a heck of a lot more for SRX purchaes in Canada.
