Monitary value is not the way to assess it. While certainly all the parts will fetch more than the whole value, you'll never sell enough of the parts to reach the break-even point.

Factor in labour to pull them off and you may be better off to sell it and be done with it.

Wow, I am very sorry to hear that. If you time is worth anything (and I bet it is), then sell it whole. That's a good reminder how worthless all this stuff is.

John, that is depressing news. Keep the faith and take the time to enjoy each day and all it has to offer. Doctors don't have an inside connection with God so they can be wrong about these things.
As an option to selling your SRX, you might try what a friend of mine did under circumstances similar to yours. He took his and his wife's cars and traded them in for a new MB S-class. Payments were for the longest period he could get (72 months I think). He lived for several months but only made one or two payments. His debt protection insurance paid for the new car for his wife.
Best wishes to you and yours.

The old prostate has been cut on, radiated, hormoned and chemo'd but the cancer is really a strong foe.
This Forum on the SRX and it's members exploring our common issues and solutions have been one of the few bright spots for me over the last couple of years.
My compliments, respect and awe goes out to everyone.
    Thanks !

    Hi John,

My awe goes out to you, my friend. Be Brave! I myself am 53 years old and have had two negative biopsies so far, so I know I'm just a statistic waiting to happen.

    Was yours found too late?

    Regards,
    Al

John: Not sure what to say. Do know that zero to 60 does not seem very important all of a sudden and zero to 68 years is all too fast to begin with. I am at 72 and had a soft tissue sarcoma under the right arm in 2001. After some great surgery and radiation I am so far beating the odds. Keep the faith and just maybe you can get a reflash. Regards, Mort
