In fact, they stated that even though I received the recall notice that they are going to 'inspect' my car and see if the parts need to be replaced. I thought if I received the letter than they need to replace the parts?! |

It turned out I didn't need any(emission) repairs. One cat was replaced not a long time ago when it failed ant the other had the "right" number. However they found a rear diff seal leaking and replaced it for me for free
No loaner but a good dealer after all. |

May take a while to get the parts; I was told. |

I have to take time out of my busy schedule and bring the car into the dealership, probably taking a day off to do it. Plus, it's not like they are replacing the entire exhaust system, they are attaching cat's to aged metal. It's like going to the dentist, I should be happy to have my filling fixed? LOL |

Man these things stink while they break in. When I first got the car back and drove down the road with the windows down, my exhaust smelled like puppy feet/corn chips. Now it just plain smells bad. I guess that will dissapate with age.
Anyone experience rough engine or hesitation at 1500 rpm with load prior to getting these CATS repaired?

Believe me...I'm not complaining though. I'll take free parts and labor anytime, esp. since it's not under warranty anymore. |

My cats began to rattle, and have now made the car un-driveable.
Does anyone have a number for the recall, or have any info I could use to get my car covered? |

Check with your dealer and you may get the the work covered, unless you're past it milage wise. |
