Since we have three kids she wanted the 3rd row seat. But the one we found that she fell in love with didn't have one. The guy selling it to us owns a repair shop so he said he'd find one and put it in.
Well, he did and it looks and works great. But it doesn't have seat belts. I brought it back to him and asked about the seat belts and he wasn't sure if it had seat belts or not. We looked at it and there are receptors on the bench for seat belts so, yeah, obviously it should have seat belts. He's going to get back to me on that after he researches it.
Also, when the 3rd row seat is raised it exposes the "storage well" where the jack is stored. I assume there should be some king of panel covering the jack well -- correct? Apparently it didn't come with the 3rd row seat, but I'd like to get one. Anyone know what that part number is?
And, yes, the area under the jack is wet and the carpet is stained with rust from the jack... |

You may have to call them to be definite re the part required and necessary components to install. http://www.schramauto.com/index.html http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm
Are you still under warranty? If so, GM should fix the leak. |

I looked at the two links you provided and since I don't know the part number I guess I'll need to determine what this part is called?
Rear floor panel?
Jack compartment cover?
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks. |

I don't know what you mean when you say: "the PVC piece that holds the headrests when the seat is down."
What's that?
I assume it's an additional piece that I did not get. |

As far as seatbelts for the third row, they would be impossible to add
since they are anchored to the roof, and would require different trim panels.
But then again, I thought it would be impossible to add 3rd row.
I have been unable to find the part number for the well cover. All I
can find is the total cargo storage unit. |

He called someone and they faxed him a schematic/diagram to him. I was there when it arrived and looked at it with him. We went out to the car and he could see that it was going to be a complicated job -- especially the shoulder harnesses.
He said to me "I'll have to look at this and try to figure it out. I may just insall bench seat belts that go across your lap." |

We were close enough to the tornadoes but got only heavy rain and no hail. So, it was time to do my periodic check of the jack storage area and I took some pictures and checked for part numbers. The pictures show the headrest storage, the PVC jack cover (PN25771747), that is also where the headrests are stowed, and the bottom of the panel (SAE PP12TD ADV 08162) that covers the area. If the panels where the shoulder belts stow and are attached are not already installed I agree that the installation could be a real problem. |

From your photos it looks like the floor panel that cover the jack well (and headrest ray) is screwed into the base below the seat. That arera on my newly installed 3rd row seat is smooth with nothing on it to indicate that a panel should be attached there (with a hinge, I assume).
Is that correct?
Thanks again. |

There is a latch mechanism to lock it when down. I flipped the tray that covers the jack and holds the headrests 180º when I took the picture. The rods on each headrest are inserted in two holes that are at the rear of the well and then pushed down into the slots you see in the pic. |

But I would like to get the panel that covers the jack well. I thought it was just a flat panel that you could put in place and remove -- I didn't realize it was attached with screws.
When you say that there's a latch to hold it down does that mean that it won't stay flat if it's not latched?
Thanks. |
