Yikes!.....over 9 bucks a gallon. I live in British Columbia, Canada and we are at 1.35 per liter and the Provincial Government is adding a 2.5 cent per liter carbon tax July 1 going up to 10 cents per liter in 3 years.

Guess they use fuel too. It (the train) no doubt was less expensive when I rode it in 1987.

I paid $4.08/gallon at a Citgo a couple of days ago. If you have followed this thread from the beginning, prices seem to rise daily almost everywhere.
The oil producers and U.S. oil companies have done a stellar job of desensitizing us to ever higher prices. It wasn't too long ago when $3.00/gallon seemed like robbery. Now, it would seem to be a bargain price. The golden rule applies to this situation..."he who hath the gold (oil) shall make the rules".
