Cadillac has replaced rear end, both rear wheel bearings. Still has same rear end whines. They are to look at car again next week. My info is this is common in AWD SRX's |

Dealer says every thing is fine. It' driving me nuts. Help!!

Just came back from dealer after my second visit regarding an annoying hum coming from the rear end usually occuring at about 1500 rpm. Initally dealer claimed issue with exhaust note. However after the last visit they concluded the torque converter required replacement. Replaced. Happy at last ....
Don't let them tell you it is some other issue. GM has issued a bulletin to replace the converter. Don't take anything less. |

Also, anyone know if the service bulletins are covered by GM? I am out of warranty on my 04 V8 and assume this is a pricey fix.
