New Floor Mats

After 2 1/2 years the OEM front mats had become curled and all of the little nubs on the bottom were breaking off. I ordered a set of embroidered mats from US Speed, and they look great. I am attaching pictures. I think they wanted $149 on their website, but I got them on ebay for $89.

Re: New Floor Mats

Nice looking mats FYREman.

I would be scared to put my diry shoes on them would would need to cover them with three other sets of mats. My wife just loves living with me.FG

I resemble that remark. Not near as bad as I used to be. Use to keep them clean to a fault. Must be my age. Still park out in the lots and wife complains that 1/4 mile is too far to the mall entrance.

Those are good looking mats though.

Re: New Floor Mats

I bought a set of Weathertec mats for the winter (neutral interior). They work great while trying to save the OE mats for 3 season use. I like the logo.
Kind regards,
BD

Worn floormats as a warranty claim. I gotta remember that one.

Re: New Floor Mats

Never even considered replacing them under warranty. I would have thought they were wear items. O well, I do like the new ones! I hope they clean up OK when I get them dirty.

Re: New Floor Mats

I pitched the old ones. If I still had them, I could have replaced them and kept the new ones for 'dress'.

I truly believe mine was defective. The nubs were so worn off that the mat was sliding all around. I was vacuming up nubs constantly from under the mat - it looked like gravel. The second mat was fine. So, before everyone runs to their dealer, understand that the first one was not "normal" nub wear. In other words, the driver's mat on my 06 SRX was worse after a few months than the 7 year old mats in my Seville.
