Updated nav disc ??

How close to the annual anniversary date should one expect to receive the notification for the free updated nav disc?
I'm within a couple days and haven't received anything from gmnavdisc. The vehicle is registrated on the site but initially had to call. Somehow the vin didn't make it thru normal channels.

I called them about a month before my anniversary date... told them I was taking a trip and asked them to send it to me. Four days later It was here. Good service.

Looked again at the FAQs..... I should have rec'd notice a couple months before the anniversary date. I missed the "couple" months when first looking at gmnavdisc site... thought it had read couple weeks. Any case called this morning and updated disc is on it's way. Not sure why notification didn't work as stated. The customer rep was very courteous and said I should get the update on time next year.
