    Fuel Filter Location?

Got same really bad gas in Reno, Nevada last week. Need to change the Fuel Filter. Does anyone know the location of it? Thinking about changing it out myself, since the cad isn't going anywhere until it's replaced (filter, not the car). Your inputs would be great...

a day late and a dollar short but I have to correct the guy above for others using the search option like I did.

The V8 info above is wrong. the fuel PUMP is in the tank not the filter. The filter is on the passanger side slightly ahead of the rear wheel. Bend down and you will see it. I just changed mine 2004 N* V8 SRX

That was scary. Fuel filter in the tank? That was almost the final straw. Lol

You will need SHORT fuel dissconnects 2 different sizes one of the line at the rear of the filter not much space to fit your typical dissconnect
