We are taking delivery on Monday on a 2007 AWD Blue Chip SRX with Luxury and Utility Packages. There was not an SRX to be found within a 200 mile radius with MRC, so we'll forgo it this time. We are excited to get behind the wheel Monday.

Thanks to everyone for their posts. They helped us in our decision.

You will love it! Congrats! Don't fret about the MRC. Like I posted earlier, the "dilemna" arises only if you actually drive one with MRC, then without. Since you will never get a loaner with MRC, no worries. Great vehicle and good color choice!

Re: We Took the Plunge. Thanks!

Congrat's on your new acquisition....you will absolutely fall in love with the SRX! Get ready for all of the compliments you'll be receiving when stopping for gas and whatever!

Off topic...with regard to the MRC; they are just a set of four shocks (expensive shocks)...is that correct?

If so; would he not be able to purchase a set of the MRC shocks for installation at a later time?

I think there's a bunch of electronics and sensors, too. I found this older link:

Thank you very much for the hyperlink. It appears that in addition to the shocks there are also electronic sensors at each of the four wheels that reports data to the vehicles ECU and adjusts the dampening and rebound accordingly.
