    Talking YeeHaa! It's in.

My new Bluechip/Neutral SRX is in. Dealer just called (Wed. 7th) to tell me that it's still on the truck, but if I want to see it, it'll be off by the time I get there. Can't drive it, though, until Friday morning (9th) as they have to prep it. I told him to not wait for me--just get busy.

Now I won't be able to get anything done just waiting to take delivery! EDIT: IT'LL BE READY THIS AFTERNOON!!!!

As mentioned, I believe, in other threads, it is:

V8, AWD, MagRide, UltraView, Nav, Lux package (1SD), 3rd seat, Hitch, Chrome top rails, and (yes I do) Smokers package. Basically everything except rear DVD and XM Radio (which I wanted, but can't get due to the UltraView roof.

    Huge congrats!

It is one nice ride, I bet you're really going to like it. Give us an initial review after you've driven it for a few days and let us know what you think.

And like Tiger said, post some photos! (especially of the hitch, I'm curious to see how it looks)

    Humm---The Hitch!

Well, fellow SRXers, for $250 List (I paid less) you acrually do NOT get a hitch---you get Heavy duty radiator and hitch wireing only! Can't fault my salesman too much, as he's the H2 guy, but I DO BLAME Cadillac for deceiving the unsuspecting buyer.

I was "hoodwinked"! Maybe even "baited"! Looks like I've got to go out and find my own hitch receiver. Not too bad, as Reese factory is 15 miles away, and many hitch dealers in RV City (Elkhart, IN) 10 miles away.

All else is GREAT! There's a new OnStar antenna now. No crappy cell looking mast on the rear quarter window anymore. A short (c. 3") rubber ducky on rear roof centered above the rear hatch.

More thoughts to come as soon as I figure it all out!

    Re: Hitch
My SRX came in also with "trailering package" but no hitch. Dealer was as confused as I! and we're in Detroit. Sales manger will install hitch for me no charge when it is available. Dealer says by the end of the month....However, GM guys at the Milford Proving Ground say when 2005 model is introduced....July. The are cars running around at GM with a hitch, and a hole cut out in the rear fascia with a sawzall.

I am researching this with my contacts at GM. Press your dealer to determine hitch delivery and if a new fascia is required. Where is the trailer wiring the factory installed?

Need the hitch to trailer my motorcycle our west in June....
have not found anyone making a hitch for the SRX yet. If you find one, let me know.
