    UnhappyCant watch DVD movies?

Hey, Im a new owner of a 2004 srx and I have a problem. I wanted the navigation system so my wife could watch dvd's or navigate as she please. However, everytime the damn car is in drive her movie disapper's and she can't change the route without irritatingly pulling over numerous times. Anyway around that? thanks.

I agree, IF my wife was driving it's better that way. BUT, seeing as I drive it and she likes to navigate/watch movies as I mentioned, this is a terrible annoyance.

I really question why Cadillac even advertises the fact that it can play dvd's, when the only way to play them is in park. I think like in your case, it only serves to irritate buyers after the fact. i would bet eventually someone will find a way to make it work, but for "off-road use only"
